Pacificorp Selects ATI's AWARE Product for Managing Boiler Tube Failure Content

SAN JOSE, CA - 6/14/2004 - Automation Technology, Inc. (ATI), a supplier of Collaborative Asset Management solutions for the energy industries, is pleased to announce that Pacificorp has acquired ATI's AWARE product for managing boiler tube failure content on their boilers at the Hunter Station. This move was driven by a need to improve documentation and management of knowledge pertaining to the condition of boilers, and easily utilize that knowledge to plan for future outages.

Forced outages that occur due to tube failures are documented in AWARE. This enables Pacificorp the ability to centralize knowledge pertaining to tube failures and enables engineers to analyze failure trends. By doing this, regulatory reporting is streamlined and standardized from one central location as well.
