TransAlta Selects ATI’s Aware™ for Boilers for fleet-wide implementation across TransAlta’s Canadian coal power plants.
SAN JOSE, CA - 9/6/2007 -
Automation Technology, Inc. (ATI), a supplier of Equipment Knowledge Retention solutions for the energy industry, is pleased to announce that TransAlta has selected ATI’s Aware solution for use across their Canadian coal generating plant fleet of 7 plants and 19 units.
TransAlta’s initial implementation in 2007 will focus on utilizing the Aware Boiler Module and Visual Aware for Boilers for capturing tube failures and inspection data. In addition, TransAlta shall pilot ATI’s Mobile Aware handheld implementation this year. In 2008, TransAlta shall focus on implementing ATI’s High Energy Piping Module for their Canadian and US coal plant fleet.
